I am a professional engineer based in northern Australia. My work has me extensively travelling overseas, particularly SE Asia and the Pacific islands.
My photographic experience has been limited to small compact point and shoot (P&S) cameras until June 2011. I then purchased my first "real" camera, a Finepix HS10. One of the reasons for this camera was to learn more about manual control in photography.
My girl friend loved the HS10 more than me, so I gave it to her and immediately bought an HS20EXR. Now the learning curve begins.
