The effect on the sky works great. It enhances the linear forms and the sharp metal structures of the poles.

I commented on your competition entry for the same picture. I think this is a very nice shot with great lighting. Better viewed in large to see all the nice clear detail. Well taken.

Very nice shot John, and thanks for your comments on my "Speed" photo, i'm now seeing the optical illusion as well, here's the original, i think it's the B&W that creates the effect. Cheers Kim.
