great capture i want to get a photo of one of these found where they are locally but cant see where they perch. all i get is blue flashesacross the stream

I think that is the best Kingfisher shot I have seen on Fuji, well done.

well done also for quitting smoking, not an easy task, I know.  It's now almost two years since I quit and there are times when I still crave a smoke.

Lovely shot, well worth waiting for.  The council has totally demolished the river banks where our kingfishers nest so I dont think I will manage any more shots of my own which is a great pity, I was really looking forward to winter when its easier to get a clear shot of them.
