The half-tone is very good and retains quite abit of detail.  Personally, I'd liked to see some colour but your piece works really well.

Think you have made a great job of the halftones but think it could do with a bit of color to stand out more because you have a coloured b/ground it sort of takes the eye away from the pretty young lady in the foreground of the picture.

Not sure I agree with Pixel and Alan, I think the bright background works well against the face.
