This time, it was probably very hard to find the 3 best pictures. I think that you have well done. Congratulations to the winners!!! And thank you for this superb competition, I enjoyed it very much.

but it couldn't have been easy for you, as always.

Thanks guys for your good wishes. I'm a little embarrassed at this one. I've not participated very much lately due to enormous problems logging on (which are now sorted....thank goodness) and I did get very fed up by it all and even decided to leave altogether.....even posted a thread to that effect.
My entry was intended as a joke. It's a shot I took a while back (last year) and instantly came to my mind when the X comp was opened. Hence my caption "I could never spell X". Five legs in a star shape and never did I think this would be taken seriously. I always liked the shot due to the lighting and detail through water. Still I'm very chuffed by my 3rd place.........in fact very very very chuffed !!!!
On a personal note......I'm glad Fuji have sorted my problem (and others) and am back for the long term. Its a fabulous site and this has been brought home to me by the recent thread relating to David Twitty and the intense concern and efforts the members on this site have made to ensure that he (and any others in Dave's position) has maximum support and assistance. I raise my hat to Steve Ransome, Jen and Angie D in particular......along with many others.
I may not be adding much in the near future as I am moving home to a bungalow which needs much work, but I assure you I am seriously back amongst many people I consider friends.....even though we have never met.
