FREE Portrait Professional 6 software

Hi all,

Just thought that I would share with everyone a HOT software freebie that I have found.

You can download it from the forun of 'Raymond CC ' here:

http://www.raymond.cc/forum/freebies/13515-portrait-professional-6-a.html

You must enter a valid email to recieve the serial number to activate the software here:

http://www.portraitprofessional.com/de/computerbild/

The email activation page is in German (its a German offer!) but works fine for the UK & the program is in English. just enter your email in the white box & click 'senden', then check your mail for the code. Simple!

for those who have not heard of this great software heres a lowdown.

Portrait Professional 9 is new portrait airbrushing software that has been "trained" in human beauty. Exceptionally fast and easy to use, and capable of the highest quality touch up, it lets you improve your photos instantly, just by moving sliders.

With Portrait Professional, it's incredibly fast and easy for any photographer to enhance all aspects of the face and hair of the subject:

  • Fix skin blemishes such as spots or pimples in a fraction of the time that conventional touch up software would require
  • Reduce and/or remove wrinkles
  • Remove grease, sweat or unsightly shine from the skin
  • Subtly reshape all or any aspect of the face to reduce the apparent weight of the subject or make the face subtly more attractive
  • Enhance the eye and mouth shape color and sharpness
  • Automatically smooth, recolor and thicken the subject's hair
  • Adjust the lighting on the face to make it more flattering or remove shadows from hats

This is powerful technology that you do not have to fight with, as it requires no specialist skill or knowledge to bring out the beauty in your portraits.

 Have fun,

Thanks for the link Nige - just downloaded it - had to use Google translater to understand the german site but i think all is A.O.K.

I'll give it a try on the witch who lives here - never know it may perform a small miracle.

Works well

Hi - I've just given a quick try and very impressed with the results.  It does a good job of removing wrinkles etc without the result looking artificial or with that affect of an obvious 'face-lift'.
It only took a couple of minutes to do without being too fussy over the values chosen
for each of the options.
I'm quite impressed and surprised.

Great, I normally spend hours doing this in Photoshop but this does nearly as good a job in a couple of minutes

I'm glad that a few of you have grabbed yourselves a free copy & thanks for the feedback. This was too good a freebie not to share! For the cautious few out there who think that this is dodgy & why is it free! Well it's a marketing promotion for readers of a German computer magazine, just like how they offer a free software CD stuck to the front cover.  The version given away is version 6 , while the latest version is #9, so usually software companies are happy to give a full version of old software because chances are that if you really like it you will upgrade to the new version. Incidentally, if you register this free version you will receive a discount on the new version. So its a good deal all around.

But there is a huge 'web buzz' about this software now, so I wouldn't be suprised if they pull the offer soon because of sheer numbers of people all claiming a freebie. So I would grab it quick if you've not got it yet!

If I find anymore photo related free stuff or just too good to miss, I'll keep you all posted!

  All the best,

                      Nige Smile

Managed to download the software with Firefox (IE8 hung), but both IE8 and Firefox hung when requesting the email and no mail arrived, although I did eventually get
An diese E-Mail-Adresse wurde bereits ein Code innerhalb des vergangen Tages gesendet
I believe this says an email has already been sent to this address. Maybe they are getting swamped by people trying to download it. Oh well, worth a try. Thanks for the link.

Subsequently got this with a different email address...

I think that says they have a problem!

All you need now is some body morphing software to make a new person of you and yours.

I heard recently that high St. photo printers are inundated with request for this kind of service on peoples holiday photos. Waist reduction, leg lengthening as well as face enhancement.

Kind regards,

Chas.

Wow!  That is so easy and very effective.  I'm in my 20's again. Hehe.

No problems with download into IE8 With Vista.  Thanks for the tip.

I must admit i was so 'blown away' with this I have upgraded to the version 9 - £19.99 for those thinking of it - and there are some good extras - hair, profiles, lighting, eye colour (changing).

WOW, and I hardly ever use that word.

I have just downloaded it all very easily, without any trouble, and the result of my first attempt at portrait enhancement is stunning.  Many thanks.

It is 10.00pm on Wednesday 19th August 2009 and the Download is still available.  Go for it !

Well done Nige.

Thanks for the link.

Downloaded and registered with no problem today.

Neat software and will save me hours of post processing.  One drawback though, (unless I'm missing something), it doesn't appear to be able to handle angled face shots; I keep getting the message that "the positions you have selected for the eyes are too close together..............................."  though there are some angled shots in their example pictures that work just fine.  Anyone else experiencing this?

It can only handle full face - however I was so impressed with it that I have upgraded to the latest edition which will do profiles and change hair - excellent piece of kit - for just under £20.00 - so I think the upgrade is well worth it.

Thanks Angie, just been having a look at the upgrades available and wondering if it's worth the extra £15 to upgrade to Portrate Pro Studio to be able to work on RAW files and 16 bit TIFFs too.

Anybody tried Portrait Pro Studio?
