Beautiful 'C o c k a doodle-doo', Ali, wonderful feathers on him - looks like the Italian guys hat in 'Allo 'Allo' - great interpretation - love it all.

"Struttin' with some barbeque", as Jim Galloway puts it, might not be wise - he might become the barbeque! Such a delicious looking fellow, and not only to the hens!

Great composition Ali. Love the proud strutting pose. Great colours and detail in the plummage. Nice use of light and shade. Thought it was Little Red Rooster by The Rolling Stones. I'd have been tempted to crop a bit of the left hand side to remove the fence but leave the tree.

Good luck.

Great shot Ali, fantastic colours. My first thought at the thumbnail was Howlin' Wolf and "Little Red Rooster" (also done by the Rolling Stones and many others).
