2011 - A Review of the Year :-)
Simply too many favourites to narrow it down to 12 pics, so I've made a collage for each month (plus a couple of extras!) Hope you enjoy looking back over my year with me...

January was very cold...we stayed at home a lot, though we did venture down to Dartmoor for a very chilly walk in the rain and snow...apart from that it was flower shots indoors for me.

February we celebrated Brian's birthday with a walk around Stourhead, followed by a nice G&T!

March brought a trip on the West Somerset Railway, and a day at the NEC for Focus on Imaging...

April I was on crutches, having wrecked my ankle...Mother's Day brought lovely flowers from my daughter, and later in the month we managed a trip or two, first to Lytes Carey Manor, and then down to Devon, to Noss Mayo.

May was back down to Dartmoor for a weekend...much nicer weather than January!! And then a weekend in Bude, for the annual Folk Festival.

There was a family party in June, and a church tour with our Choir. (And my first dragonfly!!!)

A special collage for a very special little girl. Summer is the great neice of a friend of mine. At 5 months she was diagnosed with neuro-blastoma. She was 7 months old here, and had had one course of cheomotherapy and was about to go in for a second course. I took some pics of her for her Mum, just in case :-\.
I'm very glad to say that all is going well for her at present, and she has responded really well to the treatment.

West Somerset Folk Festival was in July...my son James was booked to play.
The bugs and beasties were all out to play too!

August was Country Fair time.

And of course a trip to York, where we met some very strange people...funnily enough they said the same about us!!!

September grought a trip to Verwood for a singing festival, and to the American Museum for the Civil War weekend, plus the butterflies were enjoying the late sunshine.

In October we spent a week in Wales at the glorious Godremammog Mill.

November was golden and mild, perfect for strolling in the late sunshine, kicking through the leaves....

And all of a sudden it's December...Carol singing and Christmas lights, and a visit from my lovely girl...
So there we have it...another year over in the blinking of an eye. Here's hoping the next one brings all those shots you've been waiting for, and the time to enjoy the wonderful world around us.
Bright Blessings to you all for a wonderful 2012
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacqui xx

Great idea Jacquie, this makes for a smashing blog, I really enjoyed my travels through your 12 months of 2011.
I couldn't narrow my 2011 photographs down to just one per month either so gave up on doing a 2011 blog. I'll remember this for 2012.
Thak you for sharing a great blog and a great idea.

Anne
