FinePix HS10
HS10 and Wildlife
The HS10 is my latest pleasure after getting a wicked deal and I have been playing with this camera for about a month now and I love it, I have made some progress and here are my best efforts to date.

Migrant Hawker Radipole reserve Weymouth, I have spent a while chasing the Hawker but they have flown the shot far to often so this early morning chap must have still been fast a sleep

Heron flight Radipole reserve Weymouth, got lucky with this as I was just putting the camera down to enjoy a morning coffee in the the beautiful early October sun.

Green Finch having a berry good feast Radipole reserve Weymouth, this chap was very hard to focus on as he was too busy munching that he failed to realise I was trying to make him famous

Cormorant on fullzoom hand held Radipole reserve Weymouth, very happy with this on full zoom and with not the steadiest hands in the world the camera helped me out.

Hooded Merganser Radipole reserve Weymouth, recently seen in its drab coat this handsome bird finally threw on the best outfit for this picture

Sparrow Radipole reserve Weymouth, there are many Sparrow s flying in and out near the RSPB centre and I use them to practise my settings and speed skills.

Purple Stem Aster, this gem was the only colour within the dark green habitat so I had to make a star of it.

Sika Deer Arne reserve near Wareham, taken just over a week ago my Son's and I visited Arne RSPB reserve for the 1st time and I did struggle with the harsh change in light from woodland to heath and was determined to get a head shot albeit slightly of centre.

Pigeon munching a bug Arne reserve near Wareham, This chap was rather bemused that nobody was dropping any of their sandwiches so he had to settle for a bug.

Sika Deer Arne reserve near Wareham, taken yesterday (2nd Oct) it was very warm and most of the deer were laid out like lazy teenagers under the trees but this Chap stood proud and tall.

Red Admiral Radipole reserve Weymouth, I never get tired of trying to improve my shots so yet another Admiral one in my collection

Robin in morning song Radipole reserve Weymouth, I was trying to catch this fella in song but with the light thought I had failed but alas I am fairly happy with it
I did struggle in Arne with lighting in sunlight and woods but practise will pay in the end, I hope you enjoy my efforts .
C&C most welcome
Pat

You are a welcome addition to the blogging on this site. Fabulous pics, can't wait to see more. One little point, try a little narration, rather than just labeling pics, makes blog more interesting. That is just my opinion.
Great blog.

if you go to digitaltoyshop ...online you will find the raynox lense for your camera. 250 is the best one i think,it comes with a universal adapter which covers numerous lense sizzes. just type in your camera type into the search box and it will give you everything you could have. if not on the left hand side of the page there is a list of brands of camera, click fuji and then click on the camera you have. that will defo do it.
