Hi Fred

Just a thought,  you know on the database who has a 3D camera.  Can I suggest you send them all an email directing them to this link.  Using the database this way,  you can keep all owners of different models,  informed,  feeling involved and up-to-date.

Cheers

Good to know!

I have successfully copied 3D pictures to a new SD memory chip, following the instructions in the Manual:  Transfer selected pictures from first SD to Internal Memory, Take out the SD, Insert second SD, Transfer All Photos from Internal Memory to second SD, Take out second SD, Clear Internal Memory, Repeat previous steps.

However, Internal Memory stores only about 5 or 6 Photos, so transferring hundreds of Photos gets tedious!

Is there a faster way?  I have downloaded all 3D photos from my SD memory chips to my computer.  Is there some way of transferring selected .MPO files to a new SD chip?  The chip could be in the Fujifilm camera, or perhaps in the slot at the front of the computer.  All I need is one fast way that works.

I am a novice with computers, so I'd appreciate any clarification of what exactly can and cannot be done with .MPO files, SD memory chips, and the otherwise excellent Fujifilm 3D camera.

You can save them using the 3D Toolbox, there are many options. In the Finepix Studio, just select one or two movies and on the right bar, press the 3D Button. Even conversion to Red/Blue anaglyph WMV is posible Smile

With best regards, Claudia

This is just utterly irritating.

To anyone wonder, there is no easy 'save anaglyph as jpeg/png' option that I can see.

I come to this page and some people are claiming it's so, but clicking the 3D toolbox just gives the option of saving as two jpegs.

For anyone else is feeling hopelessly depressed by Fuji's utter incompetence, you can 'print screen' and paste it into paint or something, but then you have to crop the crud off the bottom and top.

SAVE ANAGLYPG JPEG/PNG - it's not hard is it Fuji? You managed to set it up so we can VIEW like that, just not save.

Oh and to top it off, I had to register just to show my disgust at this - and it wouldn't accept most the passwords I tried when I made an account. HELLO FUJI? This isn't my internet banking, I hardly care if my password is only 'medium' strength on your cruddy website.

Seriously, stop being irrating, and sort it out. 'Save as jpeg/png'.

Or if the option exists, make it more obvious. Because it simply isn't.

ps: i dont want to use stereomaker either, it doesn't do as good a job, at least it doesn't do as good an 'instant' job as the finepix viewer does.

SAVE ANAGLYPH AS JPEG/PNG. Sort it out Fuji. Maybe spend less time trying to be some kind of social network, and try to use those resources to offer simple features for the users that have paid good money for your products.
